Society today is increasing dependent on a reliable and stable supply of electricity that is to be delivered to end user at a reasonable price. Efficient management of the distribution network is vital for society.

We cooperate internationally and domestically with the energy sector, industry and leading research groups. Together with other parts of the SINTEF Group, the Norwegian University of Science and Technology and other universities we are developing solutions for:

• Risk-based management of maintenance and reinvestments (planning, strategies, decision support)
• Analysis and measurement of supply quality (supply reliability and voltage quality)
• Technical / financial planning methods
• Regulation of supply quality
• Development of the future energy system
