Introduction
Radar is an established technology applied in various areas, ranging from terrestrial and airspace surveillance to industrial applications, such as level detection, retrieval and positioning.
Our Research
Our recent activities have been development and prototyping of complete radar systems, including antennas, front-end electronics, HW/ SW for signal processing and presentation of data plots. The systems are developed for airspace surveillance covering short to medium range areas, utilising CW (continuous wave) and FMCW (frequency modulated continuous wave).
We also do consultancies for public authorities related to new radar installations and as well as modelling of radar interference caused by nearby structures. For the latter we have an in-house SW tool (DARWIA) for calculating interference between windmills and secondary radar systems.
